Homestand Highlights: St. Louis Cardinals (April 13- 19, 2012)

St. Louis (April 12, 2012)- Following the epic conclusion to the 2011 season, the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals return to Busch this week to kick off the annual return of baseball to St. Louis. The team will play a six-game homestand which starts with the home opener against the Chicago Cubs on Friday, April 13, and concludes with a rematch to the Cincinnati Reds. Earlier this week, the Cardinals wrapped up their first series against the Reds (2-1) at the end of their season-opening road trip, which included games against Miami (1-0) and Milwaukee (2-1). This home-opening homestand will feature the annual, fan-favorite traditions of Opening Day, as well as the presentation of the World Series Ring to members of the Championship squad on Saturday. Throughout the homestand, ticketed-fans will also enjoy several giveaways which include a replica ring and Championship flag.
